Brian J. Fruehling is an experienced New Jersey litigation attorney. Since 1987, Mr. Fruehling has specialized in business disputes, shareholder litigation, contract and employment matters, and personal injury cases. Mr. Fruehling provides legal counsel to a broad range of corporate clients and individuals concerning various business and legal challenges. Brian J. Fruehling represents lawyers in attorney ethics proceedings, and he also frequently serves as an expert in legal malpractice litigation (plaintiffs and defendants).   • In 2013, successfully represented a personal injury Plaintiff, obtaining a settlement of $200,000 for client injured in an automobile-bicycle accident case.
  • In 2003, appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court as Chair of the District X Ethics Committee. Responsible for management and supervision of 45 attorneys, scheduling hearings, conducting investigations, compliance and reporting to N.J. Office of Attorney Ethics.
  • Frequently served as an expert in legal malpractice actions and counsel to lawyers in attorney ethics proceedings.
  • In 2011, Elected and served as President of the Morris County Bar Association.
  • In 2017, successfully defended a corporate client in a multi-million dollar high-stakes securities litigation, defeating all claims for injunctive relief and allegations of fraud, and thereafter obtained a dismissal of the entire lawsuit without any payment to the plaintiffs.
